February2014

newsletter

Welcome to our first newsletter

The weather during January has hindered our soft fruit replanting program, however we have managed to replant a 1000 raspberry canes that will eventually be covered and hope to finish the outside raspberry planting in the next few days.

We are continuing our January beef offer and will be promoting gluten free pork sausages.

Winter so far has not been as cold as previous years but there is plenty of time for a cold spell.  We have nets of seasoned hard wood logs, kiln dried kindling packs and a selection of Calor Gas cylinders.

By popular request we are making individual Steak and Stilton Pies along with our traditional Steak and Gravy  Pies, which are available to eat in our Tea Room enjoying the cosy atmosphere of our Wood Burning Stove or to takeaway.

We are always looking for locally produced foods to add to our unique selection and if you have any suggestions we would be pleased to stock them.

Hopefully the weather will be drier and we will be able to continue with planting and pruning, full details to follow in the next newsletter.
